Unpaid intern

This song is another song by Bo Burnham, so there are a couple things you can expect: He's going to tell a joke (what if traditional means of protesting against exploitation were applied to the modern day) then he's going to explain the joke to you (what if traditional means of protesting against exploitation were applied to the modern day) and then he is going to be depressed. And, as much as the youtube commenters with names like 'galxy the birb' and 'Masterstroke JW' might disagree with me, the idea of reacting to a reaction video isn't that clever. This part is a frustrating mess and I feel like I can't escape, and I'm glad when it's over. Maybe that's what he's going for, but I don't think so.

When I was younger, six or sevenish, I would get trapped in thought cycles that I couldn't break, mostly about things I was interested in: Dinosaurs, legos, the things six or seven year olds are into. I would sit there in my room, completely stilll, as Thought A led to Thought B led to Thought A led to Thought B led to Thought A. This started happening to me again, ten years later, except instead of dinosaurs it was about jumping off the Orrin G. Hatch Federal Courthouse.
