Bezos

The thing about Jeffery Bezos, the thing that scares me, is that he really is just like us. People get rich off of nothing now--youtube channels, meme songs, supplements that don't do anything. We can't pretend that evil is confined to a couple families anymore, like you maybe could when the Hanseatic league was around or whatever. Could be you, could be me. Jeff Bezos doesn't drink infant blood, as much as people like to believe he does. He's just a guy who could be making the world better and can't bring himself to care. That's what we're all doing. That's what I'm doing right now.

I used to think the world was going to end soon, that the consumptive force of 8 billion people ripping and tearing away at the earth would eventually cause it to collapse. I don't think that any more. I think we can do this forever. I think things are just going to get 15% worse every year until the end of time.
